The American continent continues to be one of the most unequal in the world in terms of comprehensive medical services. Poverty, overcrowded homes, and poor sanitation have retarded the region's development. In Peru, the jungle region has been more affected by this great problem since there are sectors in which natives live that do not have adequate health services and suffer from various diseases. If services are available and there is an adequate supply of them, then there is an opportunity to obtain adequate medical care, especially for indigenous villages. This study aimed to describe the accessibility to health services in the indigenous communities of Peru. For this purpose, the Third Census of Native Communities of the year 2017 was reviewed and the data on the types of health establishments in the indigenous communities, the data of whom they consult in case of accidents or illnesses, and the data on medical practice were taken. traditional applied data and the most common illnesses and accidents that occur in the communities.
