One of the most serious concerns is the appearance of alarm signs in dengue that indicate a serious complication, signs that may be difficult for physicians and/or patients to recognize, which highlights the importance of greater awareness and recognition of these signs, Therefore, we emphasize that the cases were correctly identified in hospitalized patients of the Tarapoto-MINSA Hospital, and we consider emphasizing the points on the relationship between dengue serotypes and the frequency of presenting alarm signs and age as a risk factor that determines severity, to provide readers with a better approach to understanding.
