Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between process management and payment to suppliers of the company Electro Oriente S.A. A basic research approach with a descriptive correlational non-experimental design was adopted. The sample population consisted of 75 suppliers of the aforementioned company. The survey technique was used, for which two structured and standardized questionnaires were designed to collect data. The results revealed that 40% of the suppliers rated process management as fair, while 36% considered it bad and 24% rated it as good. As for the degree of payment to suppliers, 52% rated it as fair, 22.7% as poor, and 25.3% as good. It is concluded that given the Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.182, there is a very low positive correlation between process management and supplier payment.
